Intern at GE HealthCare

This summer at GE HealthCare, I developed a PowerBI dashboard to track premium spend in the logistics department. The team I was working with was looking to reduce spend, and this project aimed to help leaders of the group monitor costs more effectively. I was given the entire summer to tackle this issue and come up with a dashboard.

To build the dashboard, I collaborated with members on my team to understand what they were hoping to track. I worked extensively with the data to provide effective visualizations. One of the biggest challenges was integrating data from multiple systems while maintaining consistency.

By the end of the summer, the dashboard was successfully completed and provided tracking of premium spend, enabling managers to manage costs. The main takeaways of this project were developing my technical skills in data analytics and visualization. However, it also aided in my ability to collaborate with team members and reinforced the importance of data-driven decisions.
